A Curator’s Insights at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology

A morning visit to Cambridge University’s Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (MAA). Anita Herle, exhibition Curator and Designer, will give us an introduction to “Colour: Art, Science and Power”, the exhibition showcasing collections from across the University of Cambridge museums, libraries and colleges with objects ranging from an Amazonian feather headdress to medieval manuscripts. We will also be able to handle pieces from MAA’s extensive collections in a guided session with Museum staff.

  • Start time and meeting point: 10.30 am, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Downing Street, Cambridge CB2 3DZ. (Note: there are lifts to all floors)
  • Tickets: Members £18, non-members £23, includes coffee
  • Ticket allocation date: Monday 13 February 2023 at 12 noon. You will be sent instructions on how to pay on confirmation of your ticket. (Please note that tickets are not refundable.)
  • Priority will be given to members of Art Friends Cambridgeshire
